I love this man. Retro motorweek videos and Regular car reviews helped me a lot during my time in the States. 3 months working all day at a shitty restaurant washing dishes by hand with a lunch break spent watching and rewatching these videos. They really were the highlight of my day, and after that experience I could understand when fans write in to say someone’s content was helpful and an inspiration - I didn’t understand what they were talking about before.

Meeting John Davis is something I hope to achieve in the near future.

I would absolutely love to get lunch or coffee with him. I’ve never seen someone so wholesome in the automotive world.

My friend had his Lancia featured on a Retro Review. I never really thought about this, but I ’ll have to ask if he actually got to meet and talk to John Davis.

He sounds exactly the same. If I close my eyes, I can almost see 1985. And I love that he thinks nothing of saying things like “getting jiggy with it” and compliments a BMW super coupe by saying it sounds like a Corvette .

Garfield's creator is Jim Davis and I have met him a couple times in the '90's. Luckily, he would frequent the Blockbuster Video that I worked at back then.
